Thread: attention master riflemen

okay well right now, me and my guild just raided this base and i went SL to slice it, well i pciked up quite a bit of SL xp and im right now 0300 BH/mast carb/0002 SL, i think the idea of being an SL is pretty cool, they are rare, ive decided to master SL, and mast rifleman, heres my template:
4004 Scout, Master Marksman, Master Rifleman,and Master Squad Leader...rifleman is the best stand alone ranged profession and with master marksman its even better, and with mast sqaud leader i could do a lot for a group...who else has tried this, is it worth it, please no flames or links to other posts, i just want to hear some opinions.

and anyone got any tips for getting mast rifleman fastest?

on another note, i have 380k combat xp saved up, so i could get to like 450k combat xp quickly so if i got novice rifleman, i could be 0004 immediately so i would be very fast

As a Squad Leader, you are geared towards focusing the attack. As such, you are better off directing the fight from a position where you can get the big picture, that means not being right on the front line, so to speak. Therefore, you are best off with a ranged profession to supplement the SL. I do not believe you could go wrong with Rifleman as this ranged profession. Adding Master Marksman gives you additional rifle speed plus some additional flexibility.

Squad leader is broken and is a waste of skill points at this time. Almost all the abilities have extremely high costs and poor success rates, and many of them don't work at all.
