I assume you all know about the upcoming chef nerf, uh revamp, but if not check out the chef forums for the skinny.

Good, back already? Then here is my question, which if any of the new foods do you think will be useful to us rifleman and why?

Good I hate chefs. They are the reason you see so many "nerf rifleman" posts. I'm glad they are getting to make some interesting items, and that now you see how much a food/drink fills you up. I like the reduce damage 85% one. That should be handy. It was just ridiculous to see rifleman with over 3000 mind shooting a gun that takes 50 mind with each shot. And now it'll keep people from poping a muon/fishnak twice when they see me.

Ugh, no Fishak OR GGP? Good thing I have over 100 units of them stored away. Hopefully they don't make any pre-change food have a filling of 100 or something.

The best new mind food I have seen the data for is Spiced Tea, which admitedly is a very low-level food, but you can use 14 uses of it before you fill up, giving you a grand total of +420 mind. Hopefully there are MUCH better than that.

All pre nerf food in crates will be worthless, they will come out in single uses with no stats but still fill you up.

So remove all your food/drink from crates before the patch, yeah put down another house if you can to hold 50 fishnaks on the floor :/

Mind food is not gone for us, I seen a new buff that buffs focus and willpower.

One of the Chefs has a schematics list and the abilities of one of the foods is "Focus, Willpower", that means a buff to me.

T-Bone, are you sure about the crate thing? Because I have almost 200 units of Fishak and GGP in crates, so I'll definately need to get another house or two to store them if that's true.

The crate thing is correct. Though it does't seem to happen all the time and may be a bug. But it can happen.

Vasarian Brandy
Mind, focus, willpower +136 for 33m30s
Filling 41%
Count 7

This looks interesting, with the right resources and experimentation we might be able to take 3 of these at once.

I'm just going what i read off the chef forums. The guy that's testing the new food has stated that this tends to happen. I do like the reduce damage taken 85% for 3 hits food item. Wonder how that turns out fully experimentated with good resources. I'm gonna dump all my food outta crates (only my jedi has any food on him) just to be sure.
