Is it? i am a commando and i was fighting a rifleman yesterday. boom boom. 2 shots down when i was running at him to flame him.. note. i am not a bandwagoner... im remaking my old char who was commando before the "fix"

rifle men are the best group of guys in the game or should i say were all the noobs runing around now as rifle men is just rong

wish there was a way to get rid of them lol i hate ppl who flock to the most powerful profesion becous all they do is get it nerf and after the nerf they move on leaving the true lovers of that profesion hurt

I've been a rifleman since launch...and yes....the Rifle is great.

It's rough that people are figuring this one out now though.

Yeah, it does bite that there are so many "riflemen" thanks to either the want of PVP domination, or holo professioning. But overall, it honestly depends on the player. PVP is in alot of ways just flat out broke. One day you may take down an army of individuals, the next day you get tagged by a halfmaster who just used some exploit. I mean, if you consider it, Combat Medics are still the way to go for raw power. You can outrange a rifle with your mind poison, grab a pistol and auto fire til you random hit someone for that 1 hp that's left in their mind pool. Kiting helps too. I've seen commandos torch a rifleman that was busy sniping incaps, and I've seen melees destroy us. Likewise I've seen riflemen hold off a barrage of men by spamming SS2, or even flushing shot2 for the non masters. Radar, shooting through terrain, LOS, etc.......until these are fixed PVP really isn't a battle but more a waste of time (not that'll I"ll stop. I'll always help out my fellow men if our bases/towns are attacked. Just in the blood).

Commando is just the worst profession.

You have to come within 16m of a meleer who is going to Dizzy KD you and every ranged profession can kite you. I would take pistols 4 in marksman instead of using a heavy weapon, the only time heavy weapons is useful is when you are helping a meleer kill their target.

I dunno.. Commando Flamer Burn is some sweet stuff.. and the wounds - Oh the Humanity!!!!
