Thread: alot of Rifleman stuff dosnt work and people are trying to get us nerfed?
As far as I can tell were supposed to be like moder soldiers, we even get the title of soldier. Except the Tuskan and the T21 all of our rifles are more like assault rifles and people dont under stand why we should be doing more damage then pistols, either make us true snipers and change the max ranges on different guns or leave us how we are in pvp (maby lower our ham costs a bit), Riflemen have alot of problems but most of it is in pve.
I know you should do more damage then pistols, that a given, but doesn't a sniper have to carefully line up his shot and then fire? And not just run around in circles and yet still land the perfect head shot ? See the only reason you'll probably never get extra range is because it takes no skill what so ever to do anything in this game...it takes no skill to press tab and F5 to do adv strafe (or whatever)....it would just be stupid to see a sniper standing out of range mashing buttons and getting kills... This isn't a first person shooter, until they make you have to manually align your shots your not going to get more range then anyone else.
Once again Xytroncore.....you are a TKA, NOT a Rifleman. I, however, am BOTH. I vote NOT to 'nerf' Rifleman. Who has more experience in the matter, hmm? 
Our accuracy was modified because it was junk at Novice until you got the whole Sniping tree. Even then, it was marginal at best. At Master, I found accuracy to be fair, so maybe it doesn't need to be as high as it is. However, Novices cannot hit the broad side of a barn nor could they even shoot themselves
I know the TKA forums are boring, but we could do without your 'trolling excitement' here too. You can't take a loss to a Rifleman? Learn to fight with your head or you'll lose (it) every time.
If you want us to be snipers they need to at least double our range and give us an attack that if it hits kills someone in one hit, that would make us snipers and give you a reason to want a high speed cap on us and all of that stuff....
As I said earlier Rifleman are more like the modern soldiers used by most powerfull contries such as the US, France, Britian, China,ect. Assault rifles, which most of our guns are fire fast and hurt alot.
The only real use of a pistol in rl is to have a small, lightweight, manuverable weapon that is easy to conceal. People use them either because they want something thats small and easy to use, theyve run out of ammo with their other weapon or they just cant get any bigger guns.
How realisitic is it in real life that a Monk charges a Marine and gets within 50 feet of him? The monk would be on the ground riddled with bullets as soon as the Marine realized he was a threat.....
Rifleman should be really good at long ranges just like Tersa Kasi people should be really good at close ranges.
As a master rifleman Ive been killed by TKAs many times, if you use the terrain to your advantage there isnt much anyone with a gun can do to get rid of you since with TKA buffs it can take alot to take you down....
so basically STOP CRYING NERF EVERYTIME SOMEONE KILLS YOU!!!!
no one is supposed to be unstoppable in this game, if you play any profession well (except maby pikemen) they can kill just about any other profession, thats the way it should be...
