Thread: Clear people have never played: Rock, Paper, scissors
This is a game that people who play video games really need to understand, its the base of most combat systems in most styles of games. Their is balances issues, but, in the end if keep to this ideal things dont go totally wrong.
Rock is strong vs Scissors, Scissors is strong vs Paper, and Paper is strong vs Rock
OMG that doesnt work, if rock can beat scissors and scissors can beat paper; then rock MUST be able to beat paper and is Uber, no one can stop the rock, all fear the rock. Every one cries and the rock takes a nerf. This is the main issue we face, people do not understand the idea of counters, they thing if A can kill B and B can kill C, then A has to be stronger then C as well. I can only hope that the devs understands this, other wise in the end we will all just be bunch of papers, as they were clearly the weakest to start out ![]()
Nerf the rock it's too uber.
Every time I chose scissors and they beat me with rock.
Fear my pen! my pen is mightier then any lightsaber you can throw at me!

Yes, lets nerf paper, then we will be the ultimate. Nothing will stop us.
Actually, we should be the paper. Fragile, but powerful. Pistoleers are rock, because everybody chooses rock, and rock is easy to level at novice. Carbineers, well, they kinda have a situation all their own since they cant get to the speed cap. Hand 2 Hand folks are defenently the scisors. If we let them close to us, they cut us to little pieces while we lay on the ground looking up at them.
Milgram says, "Well, the obvious answer is paper needs to be nerfed. If it beats rock, it must be amazing."
I couldnt disagree more, rock has considerably more HAM then paper, and can easilly take out scissors. And what do you think they are complaining about on the scissors board?
NERF THE ROCK!!!
