i posted afew days ago, and can't find the post !!!

can someone link me or tell me how sniper shot works ? is it only used for PvP? as i can't seem to sniper shot any animals or NPCs....

Only PvP, it is a ranged deathblow to an incapped target.

Its tied for first place for rifleman specials with headshot III, and strafe 2. Man i love sniper shot. If i am PvPing and i incap someone, i will porpously run out to 30 or 40 m before i use sniper shot just to rub in the fact that i can do it. An amazing special.

If you shoot the corpse with sniper shot you get a tef too. I do that sometimes so they come at me again (since they don't have a prayer, and open fire at 64m anyway). It is a PvP skill, but you also get mods in the skill box so it isn't a complete waste if you are neutral and never PvP.

and there is nothing like a sniper shot for the people that got the corpse dragged to a "safe" place among their friends hehe

every time i hit my sniper shot key i feel the need to make sound effects to go along with it. Its so much fun DBing from range

Sniper shot is very very very good. 1. Ranged DB. 2. Ranged DB. 3. TKM can't use their skill to get up and dizzy/kd when you walk up to db. 4. You don't have to run up and DB, saves you time and prevents them from getting healed sometimes. 5. No walking into a crowd of enemies to db. you can do it from a safer distance.

Yes I know 1-5 are pretty much the same, but it helps out alot.

Some hints for it though, be very careful who is around when you use it. If you are in a huge group sometimes they get mad cause you are hoggin the XP. It also stops the FoW TKM's from getting up. That's the best part. They need to make it to where you cannot res if someone used it though. Nothings more annoying than that worthles rebel doctor hiding behind buildings and rezzin the worthless people I killed. Its great though, I have it macro'd so when I fight I get a lot of crap on my screen, but I don't have to worry about not killing them.

sniper shot is great, in big pvp battles you can really rake in the Faction Points. Just stay back hit people with head shot 3 or strafe2 and DB without ever having to get close. Then if a medic tries to drag burst run get to at least 60m kill him too and get more faction pt
