is there any difference? it seems i hit for less with my t21 with headshot 3, then 2.

Yeah that seems to be the general concensus, I think the damage multipliers are -

Headshot2 = 2.0x damage

Headshot3 = 2.5x damage

The HAM cost vs. Damage usually means that Headshot2 is more viable than Headshot three in just about all situations.

I just eat drink and spice till I don't notice the HAM costs any more, and spam HS3 for the little added damage.

Head Shot2 D x2.5, T x1.75 M x5
Head Shot3 D x3.0 T x2.0 M x7

this is from the faq. makes hs3 seem to scale incoreectly with the HAM/dmg ratio.
