I hadn't really done a lot of hunting since getting 2-1-3-2. I worked a few days and got 3-1-3-3 and then last night was the first time i had hunted since that time. OMG!! i am half way through the level four boxs and would have leveled if i had hunted by myself. I would be farther but i backed off and let my group members get xp also.

I got to admit i thought you guys were just talking the talk and for the most part power gaming the last levels. But I apologize and bow to your experience. You were right.

for the most part this is a really good board. much better than most of the other profession-based boards, in my opinion.

the community here in the rifle forum is one major reason i chose to come back to rifles. i spent some time in the BE and CH and Jedi and BH forums. but they seem more concerned with being whiney brats than interested in helping folks and getting their professions fixed.

this forum is by far the best one.

Yeah, I've discovered the same thing. I went out Rancor hunting last night with some of my guildies. Rancors give GREAT XP right? Not when you're fighting with 6 other guys. I was getting the same amount of XP as I was getting fighting Huf Duns and Torturs on Talus with me and my grauls. The only advantage was that Dathomirian animal bones yeilds were OQ 900+ and each Rancor gave 90+ per harvest. I'll be going on hunts for fun, but soloing with my pet tanks for serious power leveling.

And, yes, this board ROCKS. Rifleman and Scout are the two best boards on the forums, hands down.

I wish i had chosen rifleman when i was choosing a combat profession back in october. I tested marksman rifle and carbine and unfortunately choose to go carbineer first. . I missed alot of the power i had with my rifles. Fortunately i kept my marksman levels, because my christmas holo said. "Master Rifleman" i couldnt have been more overjoyed. This is the best forum i read and participate in. The community of rifleman are a great bunch of men and women. I have rarely, well never, met a rifleman that wasn't a good person and willing to answer questions, provide advice, or training no matter where they were or what they were doing.

I agree with you. This forum is chock full of really great info and helpful people.

I had to drop some Marksman skills to chase Master Damcer of all things. I opted to keep the pistol line and all but the 4th box of ranged support just to keep a few combat skills. Next holo said Master Squad Leader. Did that in 2 days at Fort Tusken then the next holo said Rifleman. AH! Finally a keeper. Too bad I dropped all those marksmen skills... Got tehm back fast though and thanks to my readings here, I've been pretty good with maximizing my time vs. XP return rates and I'm moving up on the Rifleman tree pretty good. I'm also a Master Creature Handler which is helpful for the dozen tanks that I can carry. I won't master Rifleman as fast as Dancer and know where near as fast as Squad Leader, but I'm enjoying Rifleman and fill probably bid most of my pets good bye when I get to the top

This forum is very mature, much like the Pikeman forum, although there have been a few bad apples in there lately.
