I have just completed Rifles IV and am now Novice Rifleman. I am wondering what is the best weapon to use, what kind of missions to do and how to gain some fast XP.

Any suggestions would be appreicated. I currently use a sliced Laser Rifle and mostly Overcharge and Headshots.

Stick with using aspeed slicedlaser ort21 depending on armor of your target, with a speed power up if you like. Also try get a high dmg varient for doing bleeds

Dont use overcharge, stick with headshots, and bleed with mind shot if neccessary

I have a question. There's suits of the following offered. Which would be best, if any, for a Rifleman? I've avoided armor ever since I drained me mind wearing a suit of Chitin.

70% Kinetic Layered Ubese
60% Base Composite Armor

Thanks.

There are few things you can post, for everything else, there's a CSR waiting.

thats some good armor and it will have a fairly high emcumberance. The resists will help when something gets up close and personal, and as a fellow novice, I can tell you things will get in your face.

for pve, go ubese all the way.. it's a fraction of the encumbrance. should be alot cheaper too.

i use it faithfully, minus the helmet (to limit mindpool encumbrance)

For PvE i use my 69% kinectic Ubese all encumbrance sliced.

For the limited PvP i do, i have 80% kinectic 70%ish base with 12% stun Suit. With the exception of my helm which is 80% acid, 70-75% base, with 12% stunat only 220 mind encumbrance.

We have really crappy stun layers on wanderhome :/

go with the ubese, and hotkey the helmet to your toolbar.

Once your mind strts getting low from doing specials, and teh creature closes in, pop on the helmet just incase they land a lucky shot to your mind pool
