I'd like to see what anyone else uses as a conceal shot macro...

I've used this all night on high level NPC missions with +20k payouts....

Never been touched...

/aim

/concealshot

/pause 2

/peace

/pause 4

/ui action toolbarSlot00

When whateverI was shooting dies...I key /dump.

Now it does mess up alot...it will hit that peace and not shoot...I guess that is just lag...because it will also hit long streatches where it just keeps hitting.

I'm Master Rifleman with no speed tapes...

Using a 5.8 speed T21

Please suggest any improvements in case I'm missing anything...I'll play around with the pauses...and see if anything works better.

Sorry, I won't be much help, but I just tried out conceal shot for the first time the other night. When I first earned the shot, it did no good, that was back before they made changes to it. I'm curious though, why all of the pauses? I was at the Forced labor camp, and pretty much took out the entire cave, except for the sisters with 100% resists to all rifle damage types, and all I had to do was spam conceal shot. I didn't have any problems missing.

Also, I've seen reports that you need to be over 40m away for it to work, but I took out a couple of the sisters from around 30m. I was a little surprised at the power of conceal shot, I had always considered it a pretty boring sounding special, and that it took a long time to use. It didn't seem all that fair to me that I could just sit there and pick off all of the sisters with little to no fear, but I now understand why a lot of people really like this special. I'm just at a loss as to what it's weakness is...

Just one thing - IMHO, it would be better to set it up so you're pressing a button each time so you don't accidentally miss two shots in a row and get agro. You might try:

/concealshot

/pause 2

/peace

/pause 4

/echo Press the Concealshot button again!

The /echo sends a message to the screen so you know that you've waited your 4 seconds.

Just a matter of personal preferance, but what more is there to say about macros anyway? Best of luck with the shooting!

Well... I throw the /aim in there.... so I'm around +33 or so when I'm prone....and with /aim I'm +50.

I don't think I've missed.

The first pause is in there to make sure you get off a shot. If there was no pause... you'd never get off a shot I don't think.

The second pause is in there to smooth out the macro...it loops too fast withoout it..and you get a bunch of /aim and then a /peace without firing a shot.

/pause 4 is to long...I'm playing with 1 & 2 seconds.

I have a Aimed Concealshot macro.. Literally just /aim; /concealshot that I spam when doing solo hunts. I rarely, if ever, have any problems, other than having to wait for my mind to refresh.

i just go /dump; /concealshot; /concealshot; /concealshot;... about 20 more of em. i dont think i have ever missed enough to get attacked. i always execute this attack from 60ish meters and from kneeling.

i also have a /dump; /peace; macro that pulls me out of combat and clears the queue. i have a headshot2 and 3 macro that start out mindshot2 then just a bunch of each attack stacked.

i use conceal shot a lot for taming. it is super handy to clear out the grown creatures when i am going after a baby.

i honestly havent found a use for /aim. it may be handy in PVP but i think my points are better spent in medic.

I just go /concealshot /aim about 5 times (ending in /aim) the only thing I need to do is press the macro key maybe 3 times and make sure I"m in range of the guy. Having mind is a plus as well.

ok i'm 3-3-1-3 in rifleman. is it correct to say that there is mo need to peace after concealshot. i thought if you keep hitting concelashot the target would aggro you.

/peace after Concealshot if you miss. Spamming it and hitting the target will not cause it to aggro. If you miss twice however...raaaaaaaarrrrrrrr
