Thread: Rifle question for a fairly new rifleman...

Hi all, I recently got my first T21 rifle. It is 130-353 dmg 5.6dly. I am wondering why this type of rifle would be better to use than a Laser rifle that is 50-491 dmg 5.6 dly.
The ham on the T21 is higher of course and its armor piercing is higher.. but if the creature I am fighting has medium or lower armor would the extra armor pierce of the T21 even make a difference?? (and is the difference enough to offsent the 17 more mind pool cost)

Look at it's minimum damage output (130-353), compared to the Laser Rifles(50-491). Meaningthe T21 will hit harder on moreoccasions that thelaser rifle.

It looks to me like the two are equal. both are going to do about the same so you might be able to get rid of one of those. oh by looking at my signature I am going to convert to rifles when I get home from work hehe.

One major problem I have so far with the T21 is the Ham cost kills me compared to the Laser. For instance.. I can spam Mind Shot 2 and kill a famba with more than 50% of my 1100 Mind pool remaining.. but with the T21 I am out by the end of the fight. My substats for mind are maxed at 500 (twilek stats unfortunately) as well so I cant do much there.

pop some muon, its your friend 
another major difference between the two, is the extra damage form heavy ap, watch the numbers above thier heads, not the ones in the combat spam, it will often say i hit for 2k and i really hit for 3k...
