I have decided to try Swordsman to supplement my Rifle Skills. After all, they can do mind bleeds and mind damage just like we can, so it seems a good mix. I have gotten to 2 Handed III in Brawler so far, and am working on leveling up to Swordsman.

So, last night, I took, among other things,a Kaadu lair mission. I hopped on my Speeder Bike and headed to the WP. As I crested a hill, I saw my mission in the valley below, so I hopped off my bike, and moved down the hill to get into position. Since bleeds do not count for XP and since I wanted to single pull a Kaadu from the group, I pulled out my rifle, fired a Mindshot1 + Mindshot2 and went Peace. I moved up the hill a bit, and pulled out my sword and waited for the bleeds to hit. So get this picture, my bike is at the top of the hill, I am somewhere about 30m down from there in the middle of the hill, and the Kaadu is about 80m away from me down in the valley.

Oddly, the Kaadu did not aggro when the first bleed hit. It stood there for a bit. When it finally did aggro, I readied myself for combat, shiny sword at the ready. Another bleed hit, anddrained all but one point of its mind pool at that point, so this was going to be a super easy kill as long as I hit it. It charged up the hill straight for me, so got ready to attack as soon as it got in range, but instead of stopping in front of me, it moved around my right side. Okay, I thought, it got in behind me, so I turned to face it.

But to my surprise, it was not there. It was, in fact, 30m up the hill beating the snot out of my speeder bike. It had run right by me, ignoring me completely.

Of course, I killed it with one hit, but by the time I got up there, it had taken half the life out of my bike. It was the wierdest thing. I guess it came charging up and saw my sword and thought, "Well, he has a sword. It must not have been him who shot me, but I'll bet who ever it was came on this bike. I think I'll kill it." My poor defensless little speeder bike. LOL

OMG I just laughed so hard, everyone in my call center just started staring at me. That's so terrible and hilarious at the same time.

You'd think bashing it's head on your speeder bike would waste off that last hit point.

That is very cool. I agree with Moldam, I'm at work and people were looking me like I was off my rocker when I was laughing.
