Hi All,

I just made Novice Rifle (with the first 2 boxes of Rifle Abilities). I understand the different types of damage the rifles are doing, but I dont know what are good stats for the individual weapons. My T21 does 208-285, but my Laser does 76-440. Does the heavy Armor Piercing do additional damange to targets without heavy armor? Should I have one of each type of rifle? Again, I really need to see stats on what is considered good for each type before I buy.

i buy generic T21 on bria for around 325ish damage and 70-71 ham and slice em to 410-425 damage. dunno bout lasers i have never seriously used one for anything but trashing nests when i needed the speed.

It all depends on if your weapons are sliced or not.. the 74 - 440 for unsliced Laser is pretty **edit** good.. but my guess is that it's probably damaged sliced.. but who knows..

it's damage sliced.. no way minimums would be that high on an unsliced gun.

that said, it was a poor gun to begin with.. the high min damage indicates a good slice, the low max damage indicates a poor initial gun.

typical lasers on kauri and scylla are almost identical at 40-400, preslice.

Laser rifles with stocks can hit 80 damage easy, over 100 when sliced. 440 unsliced is pretty high unless its krayt. Your T21 sucks, should be 330 without stock or 380+ with stock, and can be sliced up to over 500 with a good slice. I prefer the a good T21 to a great laser as the lasers good looking max will be negated by its hideous min, your T21 there will have a about 245 average damage due to its tight damage range, your laser will have an average of about 260. On unarored foes your laser will be marginally better. Against krayts or night sisters and a better T21 you can out damage 4 or 5 non rifleman masters except maybe commandos.

My recomendation, get a better (preferably damage sliced) T21, speed will come with the class, and damage sliced guns last longer (they fire less frequently but hit harder when they do ) and find something to fight with medium or better armor but lower HAM, use conseal shot and watch the XP fly in

because of the damage mitigation the t21 is even better now, since damage mitigation effeckts the max dmg a gun with a shorther dmg range will be better. this is for pvp. Sorry if my english is bad or what i'm writing isn't making any sense. i'm very tired now.
