I'm actually looking forward to this. Gonna finish out pistoleer first then rifles here I come.
What I'd like to know is skill tree progression suggestions and what rifles I should be using and what special are worth my time and HAM.
Thanks, and to the riflemen who do this out of love of the weapon, I promise I'll try not to do any damage to your profession.

First off get Mindshot2. You can run a macro: Mindshot1;Mindshot2 and the bleeds will stack, quite useful on large critters. Conceal Shot is another must have. If you don't miss, and have patients and buffed focus (food or drugs) you can hunt at times you can't find a group. After that, speed and accuracy, Try to get one of the AoE cone attacks, FlurryShot2 or Flushingshot2, I'd lean to Flurry myselfas that tree has the speed (you are going to NEED speed asap). I would hold off from PVP untill you get to at least 4/x/x/3 as you wil need Sniper Shot (range DB) and at least that much speed and one AoE.
Headshot3 is a waist of Mind, the damage does not reflect the cost and added delay.

I dont understand why use mindshot 1 & 2. Are they different? I thought 2 was just a more powerful version of one. BTW, I am still a noob. I dont know waht I dont know. hehe

use both because they stack. you get the damage tick for mindshot1 and also mindhsot2. so you get the damage tick for mindshot1 for me it is around 600-800 avg and then right after i get the tick for mindshot2 which averages 1200-1500 so total bleed averages about 2k a tick. i only use this on creatures with more than 10k ham and armour. anything less at master is a waste of mind and time as the creature will generally go down before the first tick of the bleed. at less than master it is a MUST to use to quickly take down large enemies.
the general tactic is to stop at 64 meters apply the two bleeds and run off a bit. then when the bleeds start you can either wait for the creature and train it shooting mind shots or just stand and deliver.
my preference is to stand my ground and watch as the creature runs up and drops at my feet. totally cool way to kill somehting huge with an audience and then emote blowing the smoke off the muzzle of the rifle. always gets applause and cheers heh

I also use my mind bleeds during Imperial destroy missions. I send in my AT-ST to take the base, then spam the bleeds against the Rebel NPCs. And if they're tough NPCs, I stack the bleeds. By the time I'm done hitting them all with bleeds, it's headshot1 time to finish them off.
I've tried using the AOE attack (flushingshot2 I think) and didn't really notice it hitting the other targets. Bug maybe???
