Thread: What to hunt when you are not a Rifleman / CH
Just need some help on what i should hunt? I can't find any FAQ or anything here that can help me? Im soloing creatures and just trying to find out what things i should hunt that i can handle and give out good xp?
And suggestions?
Geeez haha well i wouldn't have added a post here if i wasn't a rifleman? ![]()
Right now im 4 2 3 4 in my tree and that was all done with using a pet..alot easier when you can just sick your pet on a baddie and just sit back and plug them from a distance. But now i have had to drop the CH tree and im having a bit of a time trying to kill some of the baddies i was fightning before..(Vesps, Huurtons, Gurks).
Anybody that isn't having a bad day got any suggestions or mabye tactics to use that can help me finish up with the rifleman tree?

couple of basic tactics without pets.
conceal shot: works on everything around 12-14k ham very well. anything bigger can be time consuming
bleed and run: mindshots and run off then headshot2 pretty easy.
trap and shoot: get scout trapping and use lecapine darts works well at trapping4 on around CL35ish creatures.
warningshot: bleedattack t hen use warning shot works well on things up to bull rancor in size.
altho for PVE CH is best
Well, there really isn't much you can't kill one-on-one if you have the space to run, and patience. I found out that I can solo NPCs very well with Rifleman 1024. Creatures have the nasty habit of not being affected by dizzy, so you have to play with suppression fire or dizzy a lot. Fights versus NPC's end in just a few shots after bleed.
Depends on your weapons mainly. I can normally count on 1 to 2k damage on bleeds alone. So, I can solo anything up to 10k with just a little risk, if it comes alone. It's all in the "if it comes alone" part. For multiple targets you need alot more luck and space, or something to distract them for a bit.
Advanced Probots are far better than people make 'em out to be. Just don't expect too much off them. Mine works great as a speed bump.
Arggh, curse the lack of an edit button!
Clarification: That's 1-2k per tic so about 6k from MS1 and about 12k from MS2, over abouttwo minutes.
Thanks alot guys for all the juicy info!!!
And you are right, my heading wasn't exaclty clear of what i was trying to say.
