I was thinking of makig a rifleman charcter and was wondering what race and stats are best suited for rifleman and what template are popular for PVP and PVe please advise thanksbiwan:

zabrak or mon cal have real good mind stats.... best rifleman IMO

mabey rifleman CH i mostly PVE but in the end PVP will be a must

Wookies are...not so good. The lack of armour and low caps on secondary stats mean they're not great as riflemen.

At the moment I would say it goes 1) Human,2) Zabrak, 3) Mon Cal.

The safest bet IMO is1) Zabrak,2) Mon Cal.

200+ Ranged Defense, abilties to heal any kind of ailment in the field, the ever popular powerboost (a health, action, and mind buff skill for teras kasi), force of will (the ability to get back up really fast after getting incapped)and the best rifleman you can be speed and accuracy wise

i am a human master rifleman/master combat medic, so im probably the only rifleman not complaining about cm's throwing farther than 64m but anyway, i hunt with a master doc/master cm, and when it comes to pvp, the two of us can take out huge groups of rebels with little difficulty. i have 1100mind, 1000 focus, and 900 willpower, and with a full suit of adv. comp armor, with food and drink (no spice except for emergencies)and buffs, my specials cost almost nothing. i can usually maintain around a 40:1 kill ratio, and 1 on 1, i dont think i have ever lost, with the exception of a truely awesome fellow master rifleman, but with master doc.

Human is definitely the way to go...unless they decide to acknowledge the change to their secondaries is a bug and will be reset to their old max values. So far they've been completely silent on the issue so who knows what they're actually thinking.

I do know that I'd have gone human in a heartbeat if those secondary stats were available when I first created my character.

the Faq sayed that rifleman should not were armor mabey im mistaken but my secondaires would be goood without haveing to ve a buff addict ill check it out what my exact stats could be

by the way my wookie stats would be like this

H-1000

A-1000

M-1000

mind secoindaries both at 600 without bieng a wimp in the other stats

I am human and I am working on Master Riflemen/Master Doctor .

My stats atm : 900 focus

900 Will power

900 Mind

The rest id divided among other stat . Anyone know what is the max Stats for human race on mind, will power and Focus with out buff ?

When i reach master Doctor, I will buff myself ALl THE TIME, so I want to max out my mind .

doesn't make sense how Humans have the best mind caps. They have good all around stats, but **edit**, they still have the best Mind stats. I thought they'd fix this by now, but apparently not.

Seriously though, it can be done, and done well. Hell, I didit. However, your correct when you say that Zabrak or Human are better choices as Riflemen. The wookiee mind stats will usually run about 1000 mind, 650 focus, 600 willpower ( after stat point migration ); your regen rate, as well as the cost of your specials will not be as nice as either Zabraks or humans. Sad but true.
