I would like some advice on tactics for successfully combatting a player with Combat Medic skills (disease & poison), because these players are the ones who get the best of me. I was caught off guard today, while healing an declared Imperial (which gave me a TEF). The declared Imperial left, then a declared Rebel attacked me soon after while I was healing acovert Imperialplayer.

I jumped up immediately after being shot, then took off running to throw on my composite gloves & boots, then equip my weapon while getting some distance between the player and myself (which resulted in a poison on my Mind). I saw the bar dropping and consumed the Muon Gold I keep out for such an occasion, which helped. I attempted to cure the poison (since I recently obtained the ability as a Novice Doctor) but I received a message like "The required medicine type was not found". I'll have to figure out why later, because I had the ability and the medicine on me. I got off a few HS2's, tried for a MS2 but by that time I didn't have enough Mind and was soon incapacitated, then DB'd.

I'm nowhere near Master Sharpshooter yet(2-1-0-1), butare running and/or dying my only two viable options against an opponent like this? The Rebel was probably buffed and ready for a fight, and I wasn't at all. I don't expect to hold my own against a seasoned PVP player, but these CM's are killing me fast. Any advice, other than "Master the profession, n00blet!", is appreciated.

I may just have to stay Overt all the time to at least see it coming from now on.

You have3 viable options if you get a mind poison. The first being drop to your knees and beg, this one never works. The second option is to run like a little girl and hope you dont get followed. The third option is to pop muon asap and put up a good fight as possible. Maybe the first option is not viable but I always chuckle when I see it happen and wont DB the guy, sure someone else will.

1100mind/800 focus/1100 willpower. Take him out as fast as you can. Obviously don't bother with armor if your poisoned. Why would you? DoTs ignore armor. And it screws u by wasting time.

food food food

Buy some glucose pateand some angerian fishak surprise to *heal* your mind. You can also have a scout/ranger friend forage you some ''Furr-cle Onion''s. These babies give you 500 mind for 1 minute, that's a nice emergency heal if you ask me

just get a nice high damage T21 and headshot3 2-3 times. while he is wasting time poisoning you just kill him then run off and geta cure. in PvP rifle should be paired with doctor if your going solo. if your a doctor the combat medic can stand and die or run off. if he chooses the latter just heal your disease. if he comes back slap a mind bleed on him and chase him down cure as needed.

I go for Doctor becos of this too. To me, morun gold or food only able to stop the poison/disease for a while. Thus, a Doctor is a better bet.

Fyi, you need 2/0/0/0 in order to get the cure poison ability. If you will not be able to cure poison even you have the cure posion pack. That is to say, you need cure poison ability and the cure poison pack in order to cure the poison.
