Thread: Rifles and Specials
Being new to the Rifleman profession I have a couple of quick questions. The situation would be for fighting the large tough mob, Kimogilas and of course Krayt Dragons. Taking into consideration the rarity of T21 resources on some servers and finding 11 identical Krayt tissue for a T21, what would be the best weapon to use on the Dragons? Is a Krayt/Sliced Laser Rifle at all comparable to a Normal/Sliced T21? I know the T21 has a better Armor piercing. Next would be, prior to Master what would be the best Special to use? I'm looking to do the best non DoT damage. And of course as a Master what would be the best Special? (After reading the boards I'm guessing Strafe Shot 2 of course, but I want to make sure.) Also I skimmed some threads on drops, Is there a quest or drop that has better stats than a T21?
Thanks
Kaan
I'd say the T21 is your best bet for the AP.
From what I've seen adn read, strafe shot 2 is deffinetly the way to go for master...
Before master a lot of people recomend0 0 3 0 .. whatever that shot is.. I think it's Fulshing Shot 2, but I coul dbe wrong.. it's the first AoE attack you get before master. I'm almost there
But I think it depends on the situation.
Either go 0 0 3 0 first thing to get your AoE, or get 2 0 0 0 (for the mind attacks/bleeds), then work your way up the third tree for 2 0 3 0.
If you plan on doing most of your combat solo, get the mind bleeds first. If you plan on grouping with some good tanks, without a doubt go for 0 0 3 0. Once you get your first AoE, the experience comes POURING in... if you have a good tank working with you.
Try to get with a Master Creature Handler and have him send his toughest pet in to attack a lair. Then you can pick off the animals attacking the pet (very quickly), and let him have all the hide/meat/bone. Just be aware, occasionally an animal or two will break off from defending the lair to aggro on you. When that happens, have theCH focus his pet on the mobs aggroing you, wait until the pet takes a swipe at them, then run a few meters. Usually they willswitchfocus to the pet. Then thepet cango back to attacking the lair, and you can go back to mass-slaughtering.
