Thread: New to Rifleman and I have some questions
the flushing2 route only works if you have a group (which you do) or if you have a tank (which you do) so you have what is needed for the fastest route to master.
Don't neglect that last one (the x in Barb's post). Get any and all combate exp possible (shoot the lairs too). You'll thank me when you can spam Flushing2 and Flurry2 in rapid succession (status changes all around
). You will want top speed asap.
Now if you was soloing, get conceal shot then do what she said ![]()

I read the FAQ's up top, but they really did nothing for me. My play style is very aggressive. I prefer to be the damage giver in my group. I split my time in half between solo and group hunting. When I group hunt, we generally have at least 1 tank. And did I mention that Iam very aggressive?
Very Aggressive and you have a tank, Get high on Moun and spam away with a speed sliced spraystick, you'll find that gun hasgood ideal range mods. The yield is some good dps . This applys when working up to Novice Rifleman.
After you get novice Rifleman , your choice is really up to you. I had good luck going up to sniping 2, special ablities 1 and then counter snipe 3. Mind you this was back when rifleman's conceal shot was crap, and our accurracy was even worse.
As for the guns and targets of choice, from Novice untill you hit special abilites 2 I would recommend an E11 rifle, with a damage slice. (approx 117-210 speed 4.0-4.5) or a Speed sliced Laser rifle in th 40-400 damage 5speed. The Laser for your first 2-3 shots and the e11 for kiting and finishing off. I say that because if you find a good E11 your mind cost on it is in the 35-45 range vs a laser in 50-60 range. More shots with less mind. with ar2 on both guns as well.
Targets of choice really depend on what you feel you can handle. When I did it, I wasn't buffed and the 2.5x melee damage mod was in effect so I took on Kaadu's, Nudfuhs, squalls untill I was sick of seeing them. or the xp from killing them wasn't worth the time it took to kill them. With the current state of the game I would say your target of choice is what you wanna kill. also remember about the jawa ion rifle , alot of Creatures have zero stun protection.
Flushing2 in Counter Sniping 3 or Flurry 2 in Special ablities 3 are your first AOE attacks, Those will help a ton when you have a meat shield infront of you.
Good luck
