ok so conceal shot you shoot and your enemy wont see you, the success is based on your "concealment chance" mod which is 100% at master.

so then what is "surprise shot" ??????? what does it do? the description is useless.

thanks!

the difference is that surprise shot and conceal do not work as the description says. the current reason to even use surprise shot is it is the best over all single target special we have.

i use surprise shot when playing in a group and i dont want to draw surrounding monsters towards me and i want to concentrate on a single target and still deal damage to the HA bars. i admit its limited utility and more often than not just autofire with a T21 is sufficient to put serious hurt on a enraged rancor. but it is more group friendly to reserve your strafe2's for solo play or for emergencies.

/concealshot until missed or the target gets within 45m will not be detected but has poor damage

/surpriseshot has no area effect, much higher damage but can be detected

hmmm, i thought the damage kinda sucked on surprise shot but i'll check it out again...

doesn't flushing shot 1 do decent damage to single targets?

surprise shot is supposed to be a 3x damage multiplier, against flushing1's 2x (though adding stun).

i never used surprise shot, though... as i'd much rather headshot2 or 3 and kill them with directed damage.
