Any masters use the Dlt20a? HAm cost is around 24 56 25 on my server

when I was grinding to master I used dlt20a, e11 and the cold-firing rifle because we didn't have laser or t21 back then. They (dlt20a) are actually quite ok, max damage 202 without slice/power up and you can fire nearly nonstop if you heal yourself inbetween.
But if you have to chose between dlt20a and laser/t21 ...use the latter

no need for me, i have a t21 when mind cost powered up only has around 42 mind ham cost

I used one to Level early on until I could get my hands on a Laser Rifle, from there I migrated to almost exclusively using a T21.
Though a good Idea someone came up with is ( for PVP only ) swap out your currently equiped high HAM rifle with something like the DLT20a you are describing to use only "SniperShot". That makes sense as you want to keep you Mind pool from draining too quickly in PVP, SniperShot uses a fair bit of HAM as well.

I could see one time I'd use that rifle, and that is if you were helping someone hunt a lower level creature. The damage: HAM cost ratio is very high for a DLT20a. So if you weren't buffed, it would make a good gun to allow you to fire specials for long periods of time.
For this purpose, I use a Krayt E11, but now that you mention it, a DLT may be better.

only problem is it's energy damage with no armor piercing. I'd rather use a good E11, medium AP, decent damage and pretty low HAM costs, of course I hardly use the E11, I mainly use a T-21 or jawa, but there are times if I see an unbuffed-no armor wearing person that I'll break out my Krayt E11
