OK... I hunted with a fellow rifleman yesterday morning on Naboo going after herb meat. I noticed, even as a master he was using a dlt20a sometimes. When I asked him he said it was for the ham costs. I got to thinking, the dlt20a has a HAM cost in the 20's. The mind multiplier is 6 for an AOE shot so the ham cost would be under 150 for each shot...
Did I calculate this right? Are there others of you that do this also?

Not quite right. Focus reduces the HAM costs. I would assume that if he was using a DLT20a that he had a relatively low focus. Magic # for 0 HAM cost for focus is 1400 or so.

Yes he probably had very low focus. Once I feed my focus up to around 1500 I can shoot my 97-cost T21 as many times as I'd like without spending a single mind (or health or action if I'm bfufed as well).. and that's firing Strafe2.
