Well thw title says it all actually. As I'm a MBE and on my way to master CH I was planning on some rifle backup to do some damage while the pets tank. Now my question is which one to grab. This question is prolly asked many times before but as i couldnt find it I thought ide try it.

Myself was thinking of going 4-0-0-0 but this might be a terrible idea as i have to experience with rifles so any help will be appreciated.

Isnt it better to have some accuracy then to have some speed?

Besides the specials on the left side of the tree look more damaging to me but that might not be true as i have not played this profession yet

Plz enlighten me a bit more

The specials are good, the mind bleeds rock. However, for general use I would go for speed also. Although the right side is the longest to get, you also get a AOE with it.

Everyone Recommends the special ability line because of the speed in that line. (0004)

Now In Publish 6 bleeds/dots no longer stack so our combo of mind1/mind2 will no longer be an effective route.

Headshot 3 is of little use, it does slightly more damage then headshot2 and much greater ham cost.

Suprize shot is just that a suprize. Under cover, over cover blah blah I never get it to do much more then nothing. (1.5 x damage mod average)

Sniper shot is useless unless you pvp. its a pvp only shot.

Now with this knowledge I would also recommened the Counter Sniping Line , flushing 1+2 and startle 1 and 2, You get your status defense in that line and a powerfull AOE in flushing 2. In addition you get your Block mods (if they ever fix em that is)

With a pet tank in front your choices are speed with lower damage or lower speed with higher damage, Either route will work well.

dont forget to go ahead and train in other rifle skills until you need them for the abilities line who knows you may just like rifles and go ahead and master it.

the speed line, you can spam overchargeshot(the novice marksman skill) which does an insane amount of damage and will take out most targets pretty quickly

Yes, one point condition loss per two shots fired, compared to one point loss per twenty shots with a weapon without powerup or one point loss per ~5.88 shots with powerup.

If its one line, he wont like it. I HATED my rifle abilites all the way up to pointI got master. Once master.... well I saw my enemies trembled before me and heard the lamentations of their women.

"I wish I could be the one,
the one who won't care at all
But being the one on the stand,
I know the way to go, no one's guiding me.
When time soaked with blood turns its back,
I know it's hard to fall.
Confined in me was your heart
I know it's hurting you, but it's killing me."
