Thread: You rifleman are funny( opps i joined u my bad ,if u cant beat them join them)
I forget, how much range defense does doctor give? Then why would he complain about loosing to a defense stacker (which is getting removed either tommorrow or in a "month") who happens to also use rifles. Did he try to nock the opponent down or just sling his most powerful shot vs our most powerful shot? What lvl armor, buffs, and how much food/spice was therifleman on? All of these are factors not just skill level and profession choice. I will agree that mind buffs (including food) are idiotic and allow us to spam almost non-stop which is a bad thing.
All the devsneed to do is lower those (meaning we only get 5 shots then we can't fire again for a few minutes) and tailor a gun to go with soldiers and one to go with sniping. As it stands we have one that mixes and works well for both which just means it is overpowered in context. Give usa high powered, highly accurate, slow rifle for sniping and a high speed, med damage, med accuracy rifle for running and gunning. This has been brought up many times yet people seem to just glaze over our proposed fixes since 'we just want to remain uber' also the melee defense bug seems to still be unknown to some.
Call me blind if you like but is there an official post describing the exat changes to stacking defenses?
From the Devs I mean, or is it still alot of heresay?
I just want to know for sure what's going to change so I know what to expect
. Is it just the stacking of Dodge / Counterattack / Block or all defenses Melee / Ranged / State / Dodge / Counterattack / Block.
Try this morning, the patch is coming out a day early somehow.

That's what I thought, I hope you are right because that's how I see it should be.. You can combat the Status / Ranged / Melee Defense stacking with High Accuracy. Its the Dodge / Counterattack / Block that is harder to counter ![]()
Though I believe Status effects like Stun and Intimidate have a very nice effect on minimising those skills coming into effect
Stun lowers the skill check for Rng/melee def
intimi lowers dmg and the role check for secondary def aka block, dodge, counter atk.
