I know this has been brought up a million times on the board, but honestly, I never quite figured out what the consensus answer was...

I've got a pretty slick T21 rifle 4.9 spd and 164-391 (sliced for speed) and its condition just dropped below 50%. I'd like to keep it around because I haven't been able to find another one of that caliber and frankly, I'm not that rich yet where I can be dropping 40-60k on a rifle and not feel a big dent in my account. So myquestion isat what point should I think about repairing it, and who should I goto tofix it. I bought a 98+% weapon repair tool, butis there a big bonus to going to a master weaponsmith to fix it, or is there just as great a chance of success (Jawa beer glass is half full) if I do it myself?

I had my T-21 repaired last night. It was near 40% condition and one of the Master Weaponsmiths at CSA (the shop I bought it from a month ago) said they repair the weapons they make at no cost. He informed me that there is a chance of failure and that would destroy the rifle. I said to go ahead, crossed my fingers, and he handed me the rifle back at 100% - just like new. I thanked him and gave him a 3500c tip, because he was nice about the whole thing.

For anyone on Starsider, check out the CSA shop in Braxis, Naboo. I picked up my first Jawa Ion Rifle there last night. It makes a very interesting sound.

Nice T21. Yes, have a Master Weaponsmith to fix it for a better chance of a good repair. I myself, because I cannot find a smith all the time bought a crate of 25 T21s, but I am not paying the 40-60k you are, and not as at that damage unless that is with power up (looks like a Krayt or pre-nerf?).

Ah, NM, about same damage as yours. I thought you said 491 dmg.

lol I call it my squirt gun

I found that I can have my weapons successfully repaired at 200-250 condition... once it gets below 200 condition though something weird happens to my sliced t21's... the max/min dmg drops!!!

So i always repair them at 250... and usually get a 90-95% condition repair by a good weapon smith with tapes , doing it at half condition is cool too... i just don't like tracking down super weapon smiths to mess with my weapons...

and yeah, the Jawa makes a cool sound... but I like the tusken... and the spray stick soudns too
