any thoughts about this combo ? i thought about getting up to investigation III from BH and tracking IV as well as master riflemanbut im lacking 5 skill points....so a rifleman wif the perfect tracking skillz arent possible..so i guess im going master rifleman/master ranger.... even though it would have been great to track down ppl and getting to track them down to their exact location....and hunt them down to the spot where you kill em..

I am in business of harvesting Organics for merchant/Arti-types. I do just fine. I would not quite recommend it for PvP but it might work, just don't get jumped allone. I group anyway on hunts.

I am a master Rifleman/Ranger and i can say it is a great combo. The long range and massive amounts of damage you can do to MULTIPLE creatures at once complement the Ranger side of the combo very well (although I would say it would complement just about anything very well : ) ).

The strong point of Rifleman is the area of effect shots (or AoE). These attacks (Strafe Shot 2, Flushing Shot 2, or Flurry Shot 2)allow to one to hit multiple targets within a cone of fire, hence you can kill an entire nest of social animals before the first one reaches you. And if you want to be a little more precise in your killing Head Shot 2 or 3 will allow you to do just that.

One other VERY nice feature of Rifleman, which is very valuable to Master Ranger, is Conceal Shot. This shot allows you to attack from under cover WITHOUT the risk of being attacked, provided you don't miss. This is crucial to those of us who wish to take down large animals without having to use a creature of some type. I taken down Kimogilas and Rancors with this shot. Although it feels like cheating and can take anINCREDABLY long time to kill something, this shot is key to killing higher level MOBs without pets.

The only area where perhaps the Rifleman/Ranger comb could be bested by other Rifleman combos is PvP. It is extremely fun to Area Track for players and see who is out ther trying to kill you, but if you wish to be the "hardcore" PvP artist I wold suggest geting a couple lines of ranged defense in another combat proffesion, the one in Pistoleer in particular because it has excellent "defense vs. *" in it. But I originally got Rifleman to support Ranger so I did not do that. But with a little skill, some Muon Gold, and some +30% max damage/15% reduced mind cost powerups, a Master Rifleman can take down just about any other proffesion except maybe Pistoleer Dabblers and other Riflemen.

Well in the event that you have actually read this far, all I have left to say is I have played several different combos with Ranger and Rifleman is by far the most fun. I hope you decide to go Master Rifleman/Master Ranger, and if you are on Ahazi look me up, for the entire Galaxy will be afraid if two of us got together.
