Thread: The Holo effect
I'm a master of both, I love them a lot, though I rarely poison anymorethanks to the 1 hp cap on all DoTs. I used to take down lots of Nightsister Rangers (pre-patch, when they had 100% resist to everything but Kinetic and Blast) bypoisoning, double mind bleeding them, and RUNNING LIKE HELL!![]()
The Terrian Negotiation helps a lot for people like me who never bothered to get Novice Scout. At Master RM/CM, you have about 4 SP left, which is only useful for Pistol I or Carbine I in the Marksman tree, there are no other possibilities...
And yes, healing the tanks from 35m away is great, especially if you get some Master Doctor made Adv BECs/Liq Sus...I can make a Ranged Stim-E and heal for 2k HA every 2 seconds, keeps those tanks alive for a LONG TIME...![]()
No its not a great combo accually,
They are redundant, for example, with poision i can put a 700 point dot on a guy from 80 M
WIth rifle i can mind incap him in 3 seconds from 64 m
Basicaly, do one or the other you never have a need for both, Combat medic and pistol is probably the best, and rifle with doctor might be good
Yeah I'm Rifle Doc right now, but I don't want to be just another rifleman/doc or ???/doc. It's really annoying IMO. But yes I understand what you mean about the same damage and everything. It's just that sometimes plowwing through someones composite helmet while he's on muon is a little harder than throwing some poison and knock him to 400 where I can nail that bad boy down. I think being one of the few is what originally drew me to the rifleman profession.
