Say what you want about how we play this game, personally I don't really care wiether or not you "think" we are exploiters or not.. I belive the sceenshot a few replies back pretty much answers that question.

What I have a problem with is when I get a tell out of the blue calling me an exploiter and saying that I'm being watched and reported to the Customer Service Manager. Is this the kind of message Markovia sends out to people everytime he disagrees with thier style of play. Who is this Markovia person, and what gives them the right to interrupt my game. I'm a 34 year old adult, and I generally just ignore people that I don't want to have a conversation with. However when someone sends me a message and implies that they are affiliated in some way with SOE or the Customer Service department, and then goes on to tell me that they are watching me and that I will be reported, I tend to get a little upset.

I'm sorry but that is harrasment in my book as well as against the Rules of Conduct outlined in the User agreement we all agree to every time we play... this line specifically

"You agree not to do any of the following while on The Station or in any SOE Communication Feature"

"impersonate any person or entity, including but not limited to, a Station official, guide or host or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity"

After his first message. I repeadedly asked him if he were an employee of SOE. And the answer to those questions were not forthcoming. His only answers were that I was being reported, and that I should watch my actions.

I know now that this Markovia person is a "correspondant".... basically a glorified forum user with one extra permission check box on his security profile for these forums that allows him to make threads sticky and a e-mail address that lets him talk to Thunderheart . Did I miss a post by TH that indicated that "correspndants" are empowered players?Am I wrong to be upset, when I get accusing messages from someone that I have never seen nor spoken to before, and is implying that they have the power sanction my actions ?

For the other adults out there that play this game, how would you react to this type of message ? Or possibly a better question to ask would be. How would you feel if this Morkovia person sent this kind of in game message to your son or daughter while they were playing ?

Needless to say I WILL have my voice heard on this particualr matter by someone that is indeed a "Employee" of SOE, and I highly suggest to this Markovia person that they watch what they say to people, because you never know who the real person on the other side of the keyboard might be.

Oh and one last tidbit.... take a look at what exactly this person said to me.... and think about how you would feel if you recived this kind of in game message.... I'll let you be the judge....

The above is whats happening on Kettemoor post. Markovia is also Sudelaya aka Klawgena your Rifleman correspondent. He pulled this on rebels when the imps been doing it all along now for months. Im thinking this is a borderline harassment. Whether it is or not there may now be a need for some kind of policy on these correspondents. They are not neutral and if factioned and guilded they are able to wield some muscle in game with their ability to have a direct link to the CSR or Thunderheart.

This correspondent received tells from his mates that there was some exploit... didnt bother to investigate or get sides of both parties and just preceeded to "warn" the rebels.

Thisfiasco is listedunder the Let Loose the Dogs of War thread on the Kettemoor server.

Any thoughts and opinions here are appreciated.

Well let me be the first to one star you. I dont care how valid your concerns our this is the wrong forum for it. If you feal like you are being harrassed then report it using the cs ticket, or use the hot line if you need a response right now. If you have a problem with his actions as a correspondent then you might have been right to post here.

As for your SS well all I see is someone saying they have been told you cheat and that if you do it in front of them they will report you. As for the csr name well I can get a dozen or so for you if you like. I have learned a new one everytime I get a response to a ticket.

If you are exploiting, it doesn't matter if someone is "abusing" their "power", you are in the wrong, plain and simple. If someone else is doing something wrong, that is a secondary matter.

*Frustration steams out of ears* ( I LOATHE exploiters..)

One other thing... what exactly was the exploit you were accused of using? I'm not asking exactly what the exploit is, just gimme a ballpark idea.

Don't really know why Im goin to bother to reply, but anyway, Klawgena seems to be trying hard at being a positive voice for the rifleman community as well as a positive factor on the jedi boards...that said, this person's character and good hearted nature should be solidified by said points. In the reality of the situation your accusations are lookedat by myself as a cheap attempt at escaping a probable form of exploiting, if you are not guilty of such actions then why all the trouble and spam across most forums? To direct attention away from yourself and onto someone else ergo alleviating possible consequences ofexploitation.

A couple thaughts:

_You mention the names Sudelaya, AthenaF, Markovia, Klawgena, Sudelaya being Klawgena the rifleman correspondent's kettlemore character, what and who are the other two attached / affiliated to?

_You stated that you are a 34 year old adult, well, posting this same thread on nearly every forum is quite childish and not very adult behavior. You should have handled this with greater maturity.

I really hope these threads can be deleted from all butone suitable forum as this is cluttering up the community message boards. I understand you would like you opinion and voice heard on this situation but you must see it from a more realistic perspective.....maybe you were exploiting in a manner or so....maybe it was a mistake....maybe it was a joke....maybe you should have tried to get in contact with Markovia and cleared this up beforematching other names to it without proof or back up of some kind. I dont really see how this is such a great big deal if you werent doin anything wrong, a simple "oh you must have the wrong screen / player name, there must be some mistake" type of response would have been more than suitable if you were not doin anything wrong, or even no response at all...Good luck to you, hope everything is over with asap, this kind of cross-forum negativity is never good for theSWG community.

Its all on the Let loose the Dogs of War thread on Kette. I'm posting what happened to one of the rebs. What you all gotta realize as well that we are all paying customers... he flexed this muscle without first investigating.

There were no exploits done... the imp who watched us raiding one fella said we exploited. The other imps that came to fight us as we fought the turrets attest to there being done.

Furthermore its got nothing to do with exploits... the key question is he allowed to go around saying that as a correspondent of SOE SWG he can police a faction when his role as that has to be neutral and unbiased.

Regardless of which we will be calling the Hotline and asking for some action to be taken. He is just as much as a paying player that we are and no more.

There are a ton of screenies for all of you to view on that thread. If your interested in a serious debate here on this then do so after checking out the thread. Otherwise your gonna be firing from the hip and your gonna miss.

Yes, I went and read the thread on Kettemoor forum....something just doesn't seem Kosher. I don't know which side was acting fishy or who was in the wrong, simply because there isn't enough evidence for anyone to truly pass fair judgement on the situation.

Honestly though, from what I could grasp... if it was regarding a turret, they are EASILY exploitable, I have been the victim of such actions (FP down the flusher ).

The only thing I'm gonna take issue with is how incredibly immature the community can be at times. After reading that 8 page thread on Kettemoor my standards for the community have dropped dramatically. It seems as if the majority of the community is childish, and then it dawned on me.... the mature people don't post that often. It all makes sense now

I agree full heartedly Yet those who are being defamed when innocent have to speak out.. and my friends whom were sent tells and warned by this Correspondent using SOE SWG "powers" are furious.

What happened there had nothing to do with the rifle... the bloke just got a big head and decided to flex his muscles.

The issue has to do with a forum profession correspondent using his forum appointed title in game as some type of authority figure, policing other players on SOE's behalf.

well, if your using the old 71m exploit (yes it is an official exploit now, and you can get banned for it), then good! he should report you, and i hope you get banned from the game for it!

look at it this way, atleast he has the decency to warn you about it. most people would just /report to CSR, tell them about it, and next thing you know a csr would be kicking your ass, and you wouldnt have even had the chance to quit what you were doing, so screw off.
