Thread: Stealth nerf of the Mob AI?
Of late I've seen a very annoying habit of the creature come to the fore. I approach. Especially by crawling, And the mob litterly runs away. I've walked up to with in 15 meters of a kliknik, then lay down and watch it start walking, then after the first conceal shot run over 100 meters from myself and the nest it spawned from. I get up close the distance to 60 meters, lay down again, fire once and then it it almost on top of me with no teleporting.
This is happening on EVERY creature I attack.
I'm currently 4343 in Rifleman.
Don't advise me to change tactics or use shot. I have nothign that would survive long enough as a blocker to let me kill the target.
Has anyone else noticed this behaviour of the mobs?
actuly i just use head shot you get three free shots on any mob when your pron and 4 shot makes them argo if they dont die
if you cant kill them in 4 shots then the mbs proply red con to you and you shouldint be hunting it

how is that a nerf? I think its great. the AI behaves more realistically.
Joe Kliknik is minding his own bussiness when he gets shot from nowhere. He knows it came from the left because of the big smoking hole on his left claw's exoskeleton, but doesnt know exactly where it came from. Joe Kliknik runs to the right.
common sense i'd say.
either they have given every Mob in the game "force senses" (I felt a disturbance in the force....) or the old "Have you ever felt like someone is watching you?" idea has been taken too far in my book
ah now i see what you mean then. Yes, i get that a lot now that im upping rifleman. you get to 64m and the mob thats taking a nap (prone) stands up and walks away. every single **edit** time.
without the ? or ! going over their heads.
So now i just run to 55m and kneel and mindshoot them before they get out of range.
