Is it worth it? Thats really up to you. Depends on your playing style and what you want to do really.

If you are keeping CH then you won't need ConcealShot right away. So I'd get at least Sniping I for the improved accuracy and MindShot2. Also as someone else mentioned use an combat XP to level up in Rifle Specials. You'll want the speed increases.

From there I'd shoot up Counter-Sniping for FlushingShot2 as many have suggested. It's an AoE attack that does good damage. Since you will have CH to help tank it would be the fasted route in all probability.

Well, if you have any Combat XP stored up, go up the Rifle Special Abilities Tree as far as you have XP for. Helps with rifle speed and melee defense.

Next, I would get Intermediate Sniping Accuracy for Mind Shot 2. Then use that skill (stacked with MS1) to help you work up the Counter Sniping Tree to get Flushing Shot 2.

Once you have Flushing Shot 2, you can send a nice tank pet (BEmade most likely)at a lair and once everything agro's the pet, just unleash FS2 on them. It is AoE and does very nice damage. Your XP will move a lot faster at this point.

Above all, have fun!

Having been a master fencer at one time i can tell you it's worth the change. Rifleman is most powerful range profession in the game for quite a few reasons, best defenses, highest speed and accuracy bonuses, conceal shot, mind bleeds and head shots, and the all powerful Strafe 2. Im a MCH/MRM right now and it's a really nice setup for both PvE and PvP

Oh yeah i mastered this profession twice on two accounts, i first tried rifleman because of a Holo, i had to drop it because i didnt not want to go give up master doctor, so i mastered it again on my 2nd account, i dropped BH for it and dont regret it one bit. Since you are a master CH getting master rifleman will be a walk in the park. Go to dantooine run piket missions and use your pets to tank. I took me about 4 to 5 days to master it.
