OK, playing on a fairly new server there aren't many Master Chefs as yet. So when at last I found one I asked him how much a crate of Breath of Heaven would cost ... and was completely surprised at the costs he told me.

I don't want to imply that he wants to rip me off because he is one of the two chefs out there that can make it mind you. It's just way more expensive than I immagined when I read here that people use it all the time.

So here's my question: how much should it cost/do chefs sell theris on your server?

Food prices aren't as bad as they seem at first glance. You get 3-9 charges on each item, so your 50k crate of master chef food will last several times longer than your 12k crate of spice.

If there are only two master chefs, they're probably jacking up the price so they aren't swamped with orders all day. As more people master chef, prices will drop.

Goes over the math in his head:

3 crates Breath of Heaven

4 Crates Ryshkate

1 Crate Angerian Fishak Surprise

350,000 credits

I have no idea what I pay for stuff anymore, I just hand over the credits and start dealing death again.

bloodfin is generally 60-100k a crate

im glad ive got a chef friend... with my discount, its only 30k

wanderhome 90k is the going price for the high quality stuff.

Yes quiality does very from what i have seen the best stuff i can drink another the second one wears off the rest i hve to wait a few min

So I am correct when I say that each crate consists of 25 bottles, and from each bottle I can take 3-9 sips before it is empty? Ok, if this is correct the price I was told should be quite reasonable, but will have to test how long a crate lasts for me
