Thread: Armor Piercing... vulnerability bug fixed?
Well I was just testing something this weekend and noticed this doesn't appear to be the case anymore. I was shooting some low level creatures with my T21. The creatures had no resistances at all, but the floaty numbers from my T21 were almost double what the combat spam reported, as you would expect if the AP was working (by the accepted formulas, heavy AP should do 1.95x damage vs no armor). So, is the "vulnerability" bug fixed, and AP now gives extra damage as it should? Has anyone else tested this since the latest patch and hotfixes?
actuly i have found that when some thing is vunrabel to some thing it meens it dos 2x the dam the way i tested this is i found a mob that had no armor and no resist to my scout pistol (a sort of junky one )
that was about same dam as my tangle pistol STUN DAM
the mob was vurabel to stun dam but had nor resit vers energy nor armor
i shot mob with scout no specils doing around 100-150 dam
then swich to tangle with no specails and it did around 200-250 dam
after trying this for about 1 hour i finly proved when a mob is vunrabel to some thing it dos 2x the dam
so after i figur this i whent out and picked me up a good LP (a commando wep wich i dont have the cert for any more
using last dich with it i did around 1-2k dam on no resit mobs
then i found me a atst and use last dich for about 3-4k dam every time
i dont know if this has changed now but it defintly use to be that vunrabilaty ment you do 2X dam
No resist to the damage type did not appear to lose the bonus damage the way a vulnerable mob would when I tested.
It was only vulnerable mobs that did not suffer the bonus damage.
