I used a holocron today, and was EXTREMELY happy to see that it said Master Rifleman...I finally had a reason to stop going for TKA...and I needed a PvP profession since Commando's suck at PvP.
Fortunatley I already have 60k rifles xp for some reason...But now I'm stuck. I have a halfway-decent laser rifle that cant take on things that strong...What did you guys fight on your way to Novice Rifleman?
Also just a few more questions for once I become a rifleman (i did check the FAQ, I apologize if I missed any of this that was in it):
I was told to get Conceal Shot I, then go up the Sniper tree, then whatever from there...good plan?
Should I use the T-21 (or whatever its called) as soon as I get Rifleman, or should I use a different rifle?
What are good stats for the T-21 or any other rifle I should be using?
Thanks for the help guys!

I didn't have much in the way of combat skills when I was going for Novice Rifleman as it was my first choice of profession.. I got most of the XP group hunting on Dantooine with friends using a Laser Rifle and Overcharge Shot so I could do a fair bit of damage.
The more damage you can do to a target the more XP you get of course.
After I got Novice Rifleman I got a Speed Sliced T21 and took up CH at the same time, leveled them side by side and had a great time ![]()

i went on hunts to dath with guild mates killing enraged rancors i got 0-0-3-3 in rifleman first before getting other skills. CM helps with the last tree if u chuck a few poisons at the rancors u get about 3000 combat XP a kill.

You want speed on all your rifles for now. You can probably get by with the laser you have, but always look for a better one. Go on regular group hunts on whatever planet gets the most hunt time on your server. Fight the biggest monsters with the fewest people you can. Try to do a lot of damage (so don't use your bleeds) to the pool they're not hitting, so mind pool, head shot 1. The more damage you do, the more xp you'll get. It's easy really. Then if you prefer solo hunting to group hunting, get concealed shot and then go up sniper, as told. But if not, go up sniper to 3, and then go up counter sniper for your defense mods. And go up the last row with combat xp as you get it. Once you hit master, ditch your rifles for damage sliced ones, don't worry about the speed.
