I'm new to the whole hunting with others thing. But I have come across a problem for riflemen in groups. I went up the accuracy tree first and my best specials were the mind and head shots. Now we are hunting pretty big creatures, and my best attacks hit the pool that the others are hitting the least. This reduces my helpfulness. What should I be using to increase my value to the group. I was only doing solo hunting before and since I always hit the mind pool it didn't matter. Now it does.

Your best friend for now would be a spray stick with auto fire and strafe1 or flurry1. its your speed demon rifle. strafe and flurry are random pool. You'll find you'll stay alive longer and have less down time do to low mind usage.

I am going up the sniping tree first also. I'm almost to sniping IV... should have it tonight!
I just use autoattacks in groups. I've tried using mind attacks but unless I'm getting over run and the rest of the groups are on different targets, I find that mind shots don't help and a bleed wont do enough by the time the mob is dead.
I just use my t21 from a distance and autofire. I get decent rifle XP. Now when it is me and one other, then I use mind attacks.

Best group I've been in when rifling was with one other person - a swordsman. I would stay back, bleed once, bleed twice, hit the head, then as the bugger starts running to me, the swordsman would jump out of the shadows and bonk him on the head. It was usually a finishing blow and if not, he at least caught the guy's attention while I finished him off safely.
