Since i hit Master about 2 weeks ago, ive bee doing alot of PvP. Verse Most classes I can do alright if I can maintain distance between them and Keep my HAM up. Where I have real problems in PvP is one on one situations with other Rifleman. At first i would just do Headshots and Bleeds, almost always rifleman have thier mind buffed, so basically its just who can kill the other person mind first. Somtimes I win somtimes I dont. One time I got owned by Strafe shot 1, but when i tried it it didnt work as well ( maybe he had a real nice rifle)

Anyone have some good tips and/or tricks for Rifle on Rifle?

THanks,

Rifle on Rifle it'd pretty much come down to who can do the most damage fastest, A high Damage Rifle and some Nice armor in your toolbar would give you the edge.

I have to say I haven't been up agains't another Rifleman in PVP all that often so hopefully some others might have some better suggestions.

Another thing to keep in mind when your fighting rifle against rifle, throw in a dizzy/pd attack. This would be a flurryshot with a surpression fire if you have it. Us riflemen don't have defense against any of that One other tactic i used the other day in a rifleman vs rifleman duel is (works good if your in a city) run behind a wall for a bit. If your oponent spammed hs2 or strafe2 their mind bar will shoot down while your just haning out behind the wall. Poke out and spam hs2.

Hope this helps a bit.

Yeah hiding behind a wall works quite well...

As for the dizzy and posture down attack, I guess it would have to be suppression followed by flurry, because if you reverse the order for some reason it doesn't work well in terms of getting the opponent KD

I have a bad feeling about this nerf

Its all about stun. Spam Flushing shot till your target is stuned then hit them with Strafe2 or Head shot 3 depending on there HAM.

Thanks for the response, Ive started using stun but not much yet. I tried the Dizzy/PD attack for a while back when i had ranged support, and it almost never worked, i guess since supression shot is part of the marksman tree it doesnt take much PD defense to counter it, plus it has some kind of timer i think. Stun has worked a couple times, just i always forget to use it.
