Thread: Is rifleman a good profession?

buddy, you come on a forum of dedicated rifleman ethusiasts and ask if their profession owns. thats like me going to the pistoleer forums and asking if stopping shot owns.

Beam I understand your thought let me explain my Idea.


Instead of KD timers we should have KD defence that works(ie Nightsister Elderscan't be KD'd nor can master pistoleers)


This way yes carbineers can spam KD but will only work against MOB's/PC's with low KD defence, getting rid of spamable KD just makes carbineer a worthless profession. Yes I remember the KD wars that PVP used to be thats why I suggest a rock, paper, siscor idea. Atleast when carbineers could spam KD they were the paper to my rock, now they are just more paper.

I agree with you, I just had not read them even thinking about changing this like the rest, that is why I asked. Well maybe they actually fixed Charge Shot 2 also, but I doubt that.


I wish they would fix Charge Shot 2, I would happily pick that up and switch between Flurry 2 and Charge Shot 2.

Rifleman are very powerful at the master level or close to it.

As a novice, you are probably the weakest of the ranged classes.

Charge Shot 2 is still broken, but it got a 30 second timer now


I really feel bad for the poor carbineers now, they were ment to keep people on the ground while others pounded them. Now they are pistoleers with high HAM costs.

Yes, they put a 30 second timer on it i hear


It's nice for us riflemen (we have no kd defense :smileysad , but i was about to go up the carbineer tree for charge shot. Chargeshot + flurryshot = pretty nice. I also heard they puta timer on chargeshot2, but according to one of the carbineer posts chargeshot2 is still broken.

i would like to know, i did pistol 2 months ago before i quit for a bit and i didnt like it too much. Is Rifleman alot more powerful and do they have good special shots and stuff like that? thx

Hey Psyco, Charge shot nerfed? Did they put it on a timer like all other KD's in the game, I wouldn't consider that a nerf as it is now balanced with other KDs. But I haven't played today yet so was just wondering if that is what has happened now.

Why does this not surprise me?


Let's Nerf the shot before it even works that way no one will complain because it is broken, and if we do actually fix something they won't know any better.

Rifles are very slow, with exceedingly high HAM costs, to a HAM pool that cannot be healed. Hmm, why would anyone want to be a sharpshooter?
