Rifleman Archive

The template I was going for was Master Commando, Master Rifleman, and 3000 in TKA. I want to be better in PvP, should I go Master Rifleman, Master TKA, and 0030 in Pistoleer (For dizzy, blind defense). I love my flamethrower but thats all commandos have and with fire extinguishers coming out whats the point.I am torn between tka and commando and I want to keep rifleman once I master it. What should I do?

Don't know what to tell ya, the Dev's keep listening to the wrong people and nerf every dammed thing. Myself I'm sitcking with rifleman through hell and high water. All I can say is pick one profession you like and stick with it to the very end.

I know you want to PVP and so do I, but many people in PVP whine because they do not get the basic concepts of it and then say "Well it can't be me, the other professions must be overpowered." Until the dev's stop listening to whinners no profession you chose will be safe.

I am Master Rifle and will keep it till Hoth unfreezes, but I have hunted with both TKA and Commando. I have to say I am pretty darn impressed with TKA. Those guys kick some major league azz. I had a commando friend I hunted with for a while too, and he wasn't near as impressive to me.

Just my humble opinion.

My 2 creds, I win close to 80% of duels and hold my own in raids, I have very good armor and i'm buffed all the time. With that said, I have yet to loose a duel to someone holding a flamethrower or have Commando in their titlebut have, however, have my butt handed to me many-a-times to a TKM while trying to kite them. Coming from a former Master Commando, stay as far away as possible, they are so weak it hurts. As for PvE, DOT can be nice against super strong creatures, like Krayts, but anything smaller (less than 50k ham or so)will be dead (using TKM or MRM) before the DOT even ticks twice.

hate to say it, but commando got nuthin.

master a melee profession for both melee and ranged mitigation 3 - then dabble in whatever.

TKM, Fencer, and 2handsword are the obvious choices, pike is kinda broken afaik but the hardcore pikeman swear it's fun. hehe

TKM rocks, so does fencer, either would be a fantastic choice. versatility really makes this game 100% better. i love unequipping my rifle and opening up can of whoop@ss with my gaffi stick.

Well...Take this into consideration...Rifleman / TKA / pikesman (defense tree)...The defenser mods stack for pikesman and rifleman makeing it realy difficult for you to be hit.

I myself am going TKM, Master commando and Sniper, i think its one of the best combos. You get melee and med and farranged supiriority. Although Commando is tough because you need master marksman, TKM and Master Rifleman with something else might be better.
