Hi guys, i got given rifleman as a holo prof, and i really do love it. Its definately my fav prof so far.

I'm getting quite high up now, (will be 4/3/2/3 in about 20mins) and am begining to look to solo big things like FS npcs. I have no clue how to though, and was hoping for some tips I'm on chimera so i DO have a t21 but its crap (speed 11 150-350dmg unsliced)

This is the way to do it. You have to stay out of range of these types of targets until they tick down to 1 mind. Otherwise they can throw a Force KnockDown on 'ya and you're toast.

When you fire the initial bleeds do it from prone. Fire twice then peace. Jump up and get on your vehicle and stay back. Once the bleed takes it down to 1mind point then any hit will kill it. You may have to hit the target with another bleed as its fairly common for the target to survive the initial stacked bleeds.

Cool, i can see it taking a LONG time without a good t21. That said if i use cover for the two mindshots will it go agro on me?

As soon as the bleed ticks your target will aggro.

You don't need to have a T21. I have a Laser Rifle with a damage powerup that I use this way. Stick two bleeds on it and you can get each doing 1k or more. It doesn't take to long against the FS types that generally have about 12k HAM.

I have also used Concealshot successfully on FS NPCs.

Ahh, but has anyone suffered a drop in the quality in loots from using the concealed shot? I seem to be...

If you have some extra skill points to play around with, I strongly urge you to get master brawler to comfortably take down the FS guys and such. I had great success (this is not a boast as much as an example of evidence) of using a combo of tactics against dark jedi masters with these skills (killed a spawn point of about 4 with 3 others helping me).

But master brawler greatly helps the riflemen in those thigns that charge you. No need to jump on a bike or anything; just keep the distance and if they get too close for comfort, unleash the warcries, intimidates, and KD's. Then retreat back to teh safety of 50-60m and continue shooting. I've taken down multiple darkside savages, untrained weilders, and FS guys using this tactic, usually in pairs.

Without master brawler, just utilize your burst run, and use the terrain. Here's an interesting thing I found out; they don't use their powers or shoot back at you if htey are swimming. So I tend to keep fights close to water/rivers and I try to keep them swimming as much as possible.

umm it seems to be that its not just rifleman haveing this problem. the good loot drops in general seem to have gone down. i cleared the cave twice the other night. all i got was credits and one loot a locked container that turned up empty.

as for killing the random spawns, its the same thing (say 30 or so), credits or nothing at all. BAH, they should never have nerfed any of the FS. i con yellow for the novice force mystics. so its onto better things NightSisters at least i still get shards from them.
