It's an attack that sprays alot of enmies in the area. So your attackin a group of Capper Spineflaps and hit em with Advanced Strafe all six of em get hit for 2K damage. Hence the acronym "Area Of Effect" because it attacks an entire area.

CM's are like nukes. You have them just incase you need them, but as soon as you start using yours the other guys start using theirs and everything goes to hell-PyschoticChipmunk -The First line of the Riflenomican.

Don't forget that it only damages things that are in combat with you. So if there are a ton of guys in a small group, and you shoot an AoE attack at them, it won't do the damage to them. Then they are in combat with you after that, so do it again
