Thread: Gonna Gun for Pure Combat XP
RUN!!!!!! You're about to be chased.
Keep running until his mind is down to 1. Now throw the grenade. You may have to throw more than one to get a hit. But once you do, you'll pure combat xp plus the standard 10% tacked on as well. So if it's 1500 pts...you get in total 1650 combat xp from the one kill.

That is the way to do it. Another suggestion is get use a Laser Rifle. Go prone and stack bleeds on the target. If you have a speed slice and then throw on a damage powerup (or vice versa) you should be able to get both bleeds on before it aggros. Have a vehicle nearby and stay out of range until it ticks down. Then toss grenades until it goes down. One hit should do it. But you'll miss a lot. Also I think the range on grenades is less than 30m.
Also group with something for the XP bonus. I have a droid I group with and tell it to "stay" at the mission terminal. Being grouped will give you about 20-25% more XP then being solo.

This looks hugely efficient to me. I would HS2 on say, SIX bull torturs, hop on my swoop, then toss a grenade to kill ALL of them at once.
Healing people in combat gives you straight combat exp. I was helping my friend grind his character after he deleted his wookie and started with a human and this is how we did it. I would put a heavy mind bleed on a buff creature and the peace it. I would let it kick the crap out of me while he would pump me full of stim packs. He would finish the creature off once the mind went down and was getting 1k + combat. We did this because he needed master marksman and unarmed to get back up to commando. Now if you were to finish the creature off with a grenade at the end you would get tons of exp.
The downside to this is that you would need help from a good friend who doesn't mind standing around and letting a creature smack on him/her all day while you get all the exp. With rifleman bleeds the creatures die pretty quick, but it can work with any profession that can bleed things. You could probably do this with your creatures too, just let them fight and use pet stims until your creature wins. I think that grenade idea was better, but it sounded like you wanted a few more options so I hope this helps.
