Thread: A Question for Experienced Riflemen
Greetings,
I just surrendered Master BH yesterday to Master CM (done 1 day np).. So now im a master CM and i want to MASTER an elite ranged profession to pair up with it. I dont want to go pistoleer (too **edit** many of them) and ive never been fond of carbines, So i was thinking Riflemen, why not.
Few things i take into consideration, is firstly as a CM I like to use only mind disease and poison (its the most vuln pool on any profession as we all know) and riflemen specializes in very powerfull mind attacks.
Can anyone give me some insight or perhaps some advice? Oh and no im not dropping CM =)
It has been said on this forum that Combat Medic is an excellent profession with Rifleman.
Not sure exactly what you are looking for, but here some of the general feelings expressed over time on this forum:
-- Rifle can be a real grind (though some seem to know how to power grind it fast)
-- Master Rifle is very powerful and worth the grind. Speed, Accuracy, and Strafe Shot 2 rock.
-- Novice Rifle (pre-Master) takes strategy and tactics.
Its hard because you can sense the power, but you just don't quite have it yet.
-- Best path to take is 0.1.0.0 for Conceal Shot, then maybe 1.0.3.0 for Flushing Shot 2
-- Buy stock in Muon Gold. Buy Muon Gold. Buy lots of Muon Gold.
(Well, if you're master CMyou might can buff your mind somehow.. dont know)
-- You will probably either love it or hate it, not a lot of middle ground.

yea i can powergrind any profession altho riflemen is going to be the hardest probably =)

Bah.. back in the tough ol days we made master without pets ordrugs, and with baffing mobs left right and center.. Gave us a sense of achievement eh Wayne?
only down fall with a medic stylee profession is they both use mind. other than that its brill!
i personally think doc is a better compliment to rifleman as you can buff yourself all the time , so you can max all you mind stats with out any worry/weaknesses.

Damm straight, Sandz! We walkedto our missions barefoot, through the rain and snow, uphill...both ways!

Yep and don't forget we spent half of our total time on the mission on our backs.
