Thread: Wow Dodge stackig pistoleers

Well Im not a master Rifleman yet, but I still dueled this master fencer / master pistoleer. Could not him her at all. Im partial TKA / Rifleperson atm but still. I even intimidated her, and that worked a bit. Im 3-1-3-4 rifleman atm, but none of my headshots worked. She could heal so I had to take her mind out. Fight took a while too. Any other way to couter this? Does it get better at master rifleman?

it does get better at MRM, but you still will have a hard time hitting defense stackers.


devs have already stated that they're going to nerf defense stacking (which is much needed, in my opinion.)

Sooo... she was master pistoleer while you were 3134 rifleman... and you were able to kill her, right? But you're still complaining it was hard?! It shouldn't have been hard, it should have been impossible.

dodge mods dont stack....105 dodge mod(at master pistoleer or fencer) makes it so they dodge about 50% of the shots maybe more towards them.....210 dodge(master pistoleer+fencer)would make them dodge near every single shot....the devs caught this right away and fixed it

Sorry I didnt mention. She kicked my butt hard! I was buffed and she wasnt, though both of us didnt wear armor. I got a few hits in, but she just healed them. I couldnt get a KD off on her or a dizzy. Headshots just missed all over the place.

Being master in 2 combat professions doesn't sound like dabbling to me.

Anyway, if nothing will stack you'll see lots of master "your-combat-profession-of-the-month" + master medic or CH

I didnt want to sound like I was saying I was expecting to beat that person. Nor am I calling for nerfs of any kind whatsoever. The question I still have is, will a TKM or Master Rifleman have enough accuracy to hit these folks with insane dodge stacking? About half of you say yes, the other half say not really.

like most of us said, there are tricks to hitting uber-dodge/ranged defense with rifles. (high accuracy experimented rifles, kneeling, proning, bleeding, aiming, intimidating, stunning, etc.)


TKM's hit pretty much anything fairly consistantly. (+205 accuracy).


intimidate/status's help matters even further by negating defenses.

If you're both running standing next to each other you're not going to hit them. If you do some / all of what Jeisyn suggested you will hit them some of the time. Not willing to put a % on it due to different templates.

Oh yeah, forgot all about this story (Well, not ALL but some )


Anyone on Eclipse knows Julietis one heck of a PvPer. I dueled her once (2 matches) while she had her Uber-Dodge template. 200+ Dodge or some crazy high number. First duel was her vs my TKM. I got killed Duel 2 was her against my MR. I was prone at 60-ish meters. By the time she got to 30 meters, my 3 or so HSs did the job. So there is definitely truth in Jeisyn's words...

Ouch, Juliet is a savage. What you all need to realize is that most of these defense stackers and dabblers dont have anymedic, lay some bleeds and we're down.

Yep bleed and then run away up a hill and you'll get a fair amount of defence stackers.

well, every now and then i duel my master pistoleer friend for sh!ts and giggles, im 2133, and he kicks my ass EVERY time, why? because he is a master pistoleer, and im little more than halfway done with rifleman, skill box wise...

and well, when i hit master, things will change, greatly
