I wish you luck on krayts and kimos- they always warp right to me with concealshot and disappear when down to like 1% health

All the other big mobs behave, but I don't really need to loot them now do I?

And this is why I want to take the Ranger tracking tree...I can solo the big monsters now (if I don't miss more than 1shot), but I don't want to wander for hours looking for Krayts or Kimos...

cover does not improve your not getting noticed chances. all cover does is proved a bonus to ranged defense. for PVE unless your fighting certain types of NPC it is useless. and even with those NPC running in small circles is better than using cover. you dont need to be in cover to use conceal shot or surprise shot.

when shooting at an animal/npc the normal rules of detection apply even when using conceal shot. so if your close to a monster, dont have mask scent he can still see and smell you and come after you just for being there. conceal shot is not a free pass from other means of getting attacked.
