Alright, I'm grinding on Datooine right now with savage quenkers. In about 10 minutes, I'll be 4101. but one reason I'm not going quicker on grinding is i keep getting incapped by the quenkers or losing too much health for me to feel safe going into battle. So I plan to develop the tree to protect me from those next. WOuld it be the Range Defense tree or the Block tree? thanks

Do what he said. But to answer your question- you'd want Block even though I have no clue what its deal is now. It either doesn't work or works, but shows up incorrectly in the combat window. And ranged defense is better for defense against NPCs and PCs as most mobs will do Kinetic damage which you'd want melee defense for.

however, savage quenkers have a ranged attack (spit) that they happen to like... so they're one of the few creatures that ranged def actually helps with. once it melee's with you (runs up to 5m or so) then ranged def. goes out the window, of course.

Here is how I don't get incapped by Quenkers. My T21 is sliced for damage (231-504), speed power ups, I use headshot2 x3, and headshot . They are usualy dead before they aggro me. Sometimes I use headshot3 and go from there. I also have a pet that is set to guard me so if they do aggro me, the pet goes in after them. I'm a 2,0,0,1 in rifleman and a Zabrak.

I always get a full set of Doc buffs then hit with mind bleeds and go to town, I've never had a quenker even start to get white to show on my ham bar... Don't even have to use muon if you don't want to, just blast away.
