Hi all! Hoping to get some advice here on getting through Rifleman. Trying to find some profession guides out there with no luck. Current skill set is Master medic, some scout and master heavy sword. Not even going to think about the uber PvP template until the combat revamp, but I thought havinga nice long range weapon to go with heavy sword would be nice. I'm currently grinding my way through novice rifleman at this point and already noticing I'm basically using hte rifle to drag targets in to kill with my sword. Not that this is a bad thing mind you but it does little to teach me about proper rifleman tactics. Any hints or resources I can go to out there to help. I'm not interested in finishing this in a week or anything but I AM interested in learning to do this right. I gave up master doc for this so it better be fun

Howdy, not much to offer as far as advice, but I will be watching your thread as I am a Master Swordsman who is trying my hand at Rifles as well. I have found warcry and intimidate to be a big help though when the mob is charging towards you. The 10 second delay (20 with master brawler) can mean the difference between running and harvesting.

I've been working my way up the rifleman tree''s myself. Last night I made 3/0/0/1.
I reccomend going up the sniing tree first for the accuracy. Increased accuracy means more shots of the burst hits.. more damage.
I like ot get a full set of doctors buffs then head to Dantooine. The savage quenkers are great rifle xp and you get 6800 cash to boot. With the doctor's buffs, I don't have to take muon, I can just blast away if I want... or I can mind shot them and finish the mission quicker and move on... just watch the downer time.
Your mind is your life. Watch it closely. In hunting groups, I just use auto fire... most of the time the rest of the group will have the health bar down faster than I can bleed the mob so I just throw basic damage and move on. I always stay back in group combat. You're better from range not close up.
From time to time in an emergency, I'll run up to throw a heal if needed but I generally just stay back and lob in the rounds.
I'd also reccomend getting a spraystick. It looks like a small knife but it is considered a rifle and it literally sprays out the energy. The damage is lower, but it is fast and works well at point blank range.
