Hi, I'm a master combat medic, master pistoleer. I'm a pretty good challenge for most classes if I play my tactics right, except when I face a master rifleman. I get pwned, fast. My pathetic little pistol (once considered uber before mitigation) doesn't come close to matching some of thoes uber T-21's that1 shot (sometimes 2 shot) me even while wearing 72% composite. And seeing that riflemen can spam strafe shot 2 faster than I can spam stopping shot, while holding a much more damaging weapon, I think it's a no-brainer. My only concern is what is going to happen to the rifleman tree after this upcoming combat patch. I already know the pistoleer specials that don't work now, are still going to be broken so I'm definately leaning towards the switch, but I don't know anything about what will change in the rifleman aspect... anyone know?

I TOLD them they should have made our spherical space station out of the same magnetically shielded walls as the garbage compactor! -Sleksheea

In my experience with PVP you see alot of people with mad buffs, mad armor, mad defense....its alll just mad. There are only two ways to win imho.....KD/Dizzy....or mind dmg.

Its my opinion that pistoleers just dont cut it...the armor i mean.....they cant cut it *pun intended*If you are comparing straight pistoleer to rifleman there is no real comparision in PVP. Pistols are nice if you can get the sweeee BH and smuggler specials, but since you are a CM that doesnt seem to be an option.

Rifleman is better for PVP period.... for all the obvious reasons. As a stand alone elite ranged prof. it has....the most speed mods, most dmging weapons, mind targeted dmg, most accuracy mods, most ranged defense...no brainer really.

I warn you in advance tho......if you have never been a rifleman before.....they are VERY dependent on mind buffs.....you know how those carbineers have a terrible rep for high HAM costs? Think like that...just for the mind. Try shooting your t21 with armor and you understand what i mean immidiately.

I know all of this is pretty much common sense but how it makes your decision a little easier....
