Why is it only one rangedclass gets this ability? Why not ALL ranged classes? I mean lets be realistic, if someone is on the ground, not moving, near death, how hard would it be for anyone within firing range to deal the last killing blow? It's totally silly, not to mention unbalancing in a game where they are (presumably)striving for balance.

And before anyone says anything, I am not even a ranged fighter. I am pure melee, and I dont ever expect to get a ranged DB move, nor do I want one. Just something that I have been thinking about lately.

So, whine and flame me if you must, but my opinion will remain unchanged. The devs need to remove long range DB or give it to other ranged professionsas well.

It's a Rifleman skill, one of those small things that makes being a Rifleman worth it.

Why not give Mind SHot to all the other classes, or maybe conceal shot? Hell! Why have classes at all? We can all be the same character with all the same skills!!

because a guy with a sword can stand up against a lightning canon "in real life"?

its a game and obviously follows its own set of "realism" which may or may not be like RL

let's try to think of this as even remotely close to real life.

snipers kill people from far away

people with pistols can't shoot a target at extreme range for crap because they have a weapon with less mass/inertia , more unstable. pistol gunshots are usually aimed for center mass due to this.

people with machine guns spray bullets somewhere in front of them. they do a lot of general wounds.

someone with a modern rifle, using a good scope and laying prone, can easily be expected to get in a lethal headshot on a stationary target.

no ranged DB for the bounty hunter with an LLC?

it's a lightning bolt! while people who get hit by lightning get seriously messed up, many live.

people who get shot by an m16 often live ( they may not like life afterward but many live).

prople who get shot at long range by a pistol are either large targets or freakishly unlucky.

so why do rifleman get ranged deathblow? think JFK, or MLK, or any one of the (un)living examples of what one bullet put in the right place can do.
