Thread: Has Flurry Shot been tweaked/nerfed? Not a whine post :)
I really enjoyed being able to use flurry shot to "dizzy" an opponent, and then use suppressive fire to cause my target to drop to a knee. After attempting to stand back up, the opponent would fall on its back, due to being dizzy; kind of like what happens -or used to happen(?) to players.
So, in the last few weeks or so, I saw a few stealth "tweaks" or "nerfs" that I don't recall reading about in the patch notes...
1. With monsters this happened about two weeks ago:
- Use flurry shot. Monster gets dizzy. Use suppressive fire. Monster dropped to kneel. Upon monster's next "turn" (attack, whatever), monster immediately regains balance (not dizzy anymore) and monster stands back up...

2. I believe with humanoids this same situation happened a week later.
This wouldn't bother me as much, if I didn't see Unarmed (TKA?) folks that can still do this (through use of other attacks)with monsters and humanoids...
What gives?
My bad with the other two, I accidentally submitted prior to completion of the post....didn't mean to spam the boards.

No, there has been no nerf that I'm aware of. Their all on hoilday vacation so not much will happen for awhile.
Why do I want to celebrate about this?
Noticed the same thing. A dizzy NPC seems to be able to get back up a lot more easily than they did in the past. Noticed it with the last patch. Figured it had to do with the combat changes.
But even when they fall over they get up most of the time. They don't tend to stay down like they once did.
Definite change. They use to just lay there for a long time before trying to get up. Now they try to get up every second. They normally get up in 3 or 4 attempts, meaning 4 secs. They use to stay down for minutes at a time before.
Sometimes I can't even get close enough to finish them with melee, like I used to.
