Thread: We will be nerfed and our Uberness has nothing to do with our profession.
Why are we so dam powerful?
Well it's our speed, nope.
Well it's our power, nope.
The reason why we are so dam powerful is because of Doctors buffs and food.
When I get Doctors buffs I get health, action, strength, and quickness. That combo right there negates any drian to the health or action pool, doctor's buffs being 3 hours long is the icing on the cake.
Now I aint gotta worry about my health or action for 3 hours, all I need to do is worry about my mind. Issue solved, corellian ice cream. See a bunch of red dots, pop the ice cream spam Advance Strafe, their dead and my HAM is still at 100%.
If it were not for doctor buffs and food I would be a limited use attack, I would have to conserve HAM for tough enemies and avoid situations were I'm alone. Buffs and food are the overpowering factor in PVP today. You buff up and eat up, then you enter GOD MODE.
Try to PVP without buffs and food, you'll see what I mean.
We get nerfed and Meleers become the new GOD MODE, Nerf them than pistoleers, Nerf them than Carbineers, ect it's one long chain when it's buffs & foodthat are overpowered.
Almost every combat class becomes a God when having all the buff's from docs, food, spice, skills tapes, etc.. theproblem is other people, who don't really spend the time to figure outwhat's what in the game, don't realize that the other person is buffed and then think that profession is the PVP god! it all comes down to where u pick your fights too. in an enclosed area like a city if u put up a tkm vs a rifleman, the rifleman will almost always lose, but put them in an open area the rifleman will almost always win. it's all about timing. if your buffed at the moment, if the landscape benefits your class, and how you play your class. i almost never fight a tkm in a city, even if i am buffed, it's just to hard to keep distance because i'll be bumping into things, and without the distance my aiming is **edit**. If I find a TKM outside a city or in an open area I'm usually the one initiating the fight.
i know some people argue that a TKM won't even be able to touch a rifleman no matter what because rifleman will be able to kill them before they get close enough. well, i tell them your playing your tkm wrong then. i recently had a skirmish with a tkm which lasted 15 minutes...longest fight i've ever been in. we both were playing our classes the correct way. the fight was right outside of moenia. everytime i would get his HAM bar down he would run behind a structure and stay right behind it and heal up so that i didn't have line of site to attack him unless i got close enough. every time i tried to come close he would charge me and i would have to burst run and start kiting. well in the end he won the fight because i took a chance and wasn't patient. i should have just ended up leaving the fight scene to live another day and not take the decay.
that being said, i hope the devs just don't nerf classes trying to make swg classes one monotonous bunch of classes that are similar just with different names because people think one class is a PVP god. it that class gets nerfed another class will become the PVP god, then another nerf, then it's never ending. i think each class should be a PVP god in it's own special situation.
TKM = pvp gods close combat, in cities, in caves, etc...
Rifleman= pvp gods at a distance, in open areas, etc..
