Thread: Melee accuracy Modifier?
Now, in that big november publish we all heard that AWESOME, AWESOME news that they were taking out the 2.5 damage modifier, correct? And that theyreplaced it with a melee accuracy modifier (so that we would be easier to hit in melee with a rifle out)?
Well, they got the multiplier backwards. I'm master TKA and master rifles, and even in a crowd of bolle bols, i get hit less when I juststand there with a rifle out then when I switch to knucklers and go Centered.
This is bad.
People allready scream about how we "OMG NED 2 BE NURFED OMG", and when the melee classes realize that SOE messed up and made then unable to hit us, the screams will reach a deafening fever pitch. I don't know if Klaw wantsme tomakelogs or if our beloved Correspondent needs to personallydo the testing, but this really is something that needs to be put forward to the developers and hopefullyfixed.
I don't even bother to run around now, ubese + mRm means I make a great tank in PvE.
If things work the way I think they do, it's not just a master rifle thing. someone with no combat aptitude like a fresh out of tutorial novice artisan should visibly notice being hit less if they compare holding a CDEF rifle to holding nothing.
Actually, if things worked the way they should our xboxen melee defense should be pretty much a write off until it's combined with another class.
